From my great Aunt Beulah

I am just amazed to have got a box from my great Aunt Beulah Holt Stronzek - only remaining sibling to my grandma - and to Bertha Holt (who was instrumental in getting international adoption going from the U.S., writing to congress etc. to get a bill passed to allow it. Bertha and her husband, Harry Holt, adopted 8 children from Korea, and started Holt International Adoption Agency.) Beulah is 95 (?) now, and I've just recently came into contact with her - much to my delight. She has her own incredible story to tell, especially interesting to me, because she also left the same Brethren group as I, and has become an incredible example of serving God and growing from difficult experiences to me and others around her. She knitted the sweaters that my boys are wearing, above. She has quilted, sewn and knitted thousands of clothing articles for orphans that Holt has come into contact with. She also has just completed family history books, which I'm in the process of going through. I'm learning so much and am so blessed to have found her.

Psalm 127

1.Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain...
3.
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.
4. Like arrows
in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
5. Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend
with their enemies in the gate.
